The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office fingerprints Sampson County Residents Only with the correct information on your valid NC ID Card/NC Driver's License.
The Sheriff and his staff are required to follow strict federal guidelines when performing necessary procedures for fingerprinting. During the application process, you will be asked to schedule an appointment. Please note that you will be asked to pay now to reserve your appointment.
If you are applying for a Concealed Weapon Permit you do NOT need to schedule a fingerprint appointment in addition to scheduling an appointment to submit your paperwork.
Pricing
- Fingerprinting costs $14.76
- Appointments for fingerprinting will be processed between 7:30 am-5:15 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Fingerprinting Requirements: must meet ALL requirements
If you are obtaining fingerprints that require electronic submission to the SBI, please make sure you receive the Electronic Submission form from the agency requesting that you be fingerprinted. If you do not have these forms we cannot fingerprint you.
The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office offers this online service as a convenience to the community. The fingerprint fee is $14.76.
